Not at all. Our workshops are designed to suit all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced makers. Katherine and her team will provide expert, step-by-step guidance throughout the session to ensure you feel supported and get the most out of your time with us.
Yes, we love welcoming young potters! For our general Taster Workshops and Family Sessions, participants must be aged 8 and above to ensure they can safely use the equipment. However, we also run dedicated Children's Classes which are tailored to younger age groups—please check the specific class details or contact us if you are unsure.
Our standard taster sessions and classes run for 2 hours. However, we also offer full-day workshops, weekend experiences, and 6-week courses for those looking for a more immersive experience. Please check the individual booking pages for specific times.
Just yourself and some enthusiasm! Working with clay can be messy, so we strongly recommend wearing old, comfortable clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dusty. We have a supply of aprons available for you to use, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
